ALEWIFE

Description

A lot of lure manufacturers key in on the green tones when mimicking an alewife, and we went the same route.  In doing so, we realized this pattern could serve a second purpose in the TailOut lineup.

The lime green/chartreuse tones give the bait added visibility in stained or lower-visibility water, helping the pattern stand out when more natural colours may be harder to see.

The result is a pattern designed to mimic an important Great Lakes forage species while also giving anglers a higher visibility option when water conditions call for it.
