Stonefly

Description

Sometimes “matching the hatch” means fishing bugs.  When stoneflies are on the menu, TailOut Stoneflies give you a realistic imitation designed to fit the situation.  Available in black and brown, these soft plastic stoneflies offer two proven options when fish are keyed in on aquatic insects.

Stonefly patterns can really shine through later winter on certain systems, when insect life becomes an important food source and fish aren’t necessarily looking for a larger meal.  Drift them naturally through productive water and let the profile do the work.  These can also be a great option on sunny days when insects might naturally be on the move.
